Fund Excellence

St. Xavier’s College – Autonomous, Mumbai, would like to appeal to alumni and well-wishers to contribute to good education, by supporting our efforts at excellence. Like every good University abroad, the College requires an Endowment Corpus Fund to make possible the quality of education it is known for and to achieve international standards. The Autonomy System makes such funding crucial to our endeavours.

With Government Funding drastically reduced and with a large percentage of students who cannot pay even the highly Government-subsidised fees, it is crucial for those who ‘spent the best part of our lives’ at St. Xavier’s, to contribute to educational excellence at their Alma Mater. We have a set of highly committed and competent faculty, who give us confidence that we can provide the best kind of higher education that the world has to offer. We know that your experience at St. Xavier’s will bear witness to this.
The College has recurring needs for finance to enable a host of activities and infrastructure. These needs emerge in the course of the year as opportunities open and there is little possibility to appeal for funds for the specific projects. Hence an Endowment Corpus will enable the College to meet these important needs from the yearly interest, while the Corpus remains untouched.
