The HSC (XII std) results are being declared on the 7th of June. Admission forms to the Senior College courses will be available at the College from this date. They have to be filled and submitted by the 14th of June, as per the schedule announced by the University of Mumbai.
Outstation students are welcome to download the Admission Form, print it out and after filling in all the details, send it by Courier or Registered Post to the College, to reach by the 14th of June. Please include a demand draft of Rs.50/- in favour of 'Principal, St. Xavier's College' (payable in Mumbai) as processing charge. Attested Xerox copies of the necessary marksheets and other documents as mentioned in the Admission Form need to be included. Please note that the Provisional Eligibility Certificate from the University of Mumbai has to be applied for at the College, according to a new procedure being put into place by the University. This form will be available at the College and is not available online. This certificate must be secured before admission is offered.
The merit lists of those who are being offered admission will be dislayed on our Noticeboard at the College and on the website on the 16th evening and the student along with a guardian is expected to appear for an interview at the College on the 17th morning. On admission being offered the regular Admission Form will have to be filled for those who had filled the online form and fees will have to be paid, after submitting the original marksheet of the XII.
Mumbai University does not prescribe any quota for NRIs or foreign nationals, though they are welcome to apply on par with other applicants. Further clarifications are possible at admin@xaviers.edu
